Books and Chili!

Hello Friend! Last week I decided to try something new - a test of sorts and it's going on now, so it's too early to tell the results. I'll share it once I have more data. I also made some really good chili (see below). Reminder: October is Financial Planning MonthCheck out my money books, including Manifest Money in a Month, Money Skills for Your Rich Life, and the Money Mojo Workbook. All three books are available as paperbacks through my store. Books and Life Craft ToolsIn my online store, you'll find the following:
Check out these other cozy books (including mine) you can add to your Kindle collection. Mmmmm, ChiliI had a taste for chili this past weekend, and it's not something I make often, especially not a more traditional chili. But I had a package of 3 pounds of turkey, fresh scallions, and October had just rolled in. Chili felt right. This is the recipe I used. I bought a 3 pack of yellow, orange, and red bell peppers and used the orange and red in the chili instead of two reds (cost savings) and sprinkled some turmeric in for the added health benefits boost (always pair with black pepper to activate). My son isn't a big chili fan, but my husband and I loved it! Instead of sour cream, I used plain light Greek yogurt. And if you skip the corn chips (which I'm not!) this is a tasty, high-protein, veggie-filled, low-carb meal. The beans add carbs, and so do most vegetables. But I like the crunch of the corn chips, so there's that. Next week I'll share a new tip I learned. Have a great rest of your week! -Bernette Sherman Shop.BernetteSherman.com |
